The International Review of the Red Cross dedicates its new discussion forum to the book: "Minimal Humanity. Humanitarianism and the Quanfication of Human Needs" from Joel Glasman. With contributions from Prof. Bertrand Taithe, Dr. Léa Macias, Prof. Dennis Dijkzeul, Prof. Andrea Behrends, William Anderson (The Sphere Project) and Bruno Demeyere (ICRC).

Prof. Joel Glasman honoured with the research price from the Red Cross Foundation.
Three outstanding laureates were recognized, with two prizes of 3000 € and one honorary award. Prof. Glasman is being recognized for his historical research on humanitarianism, governance, and humanitarian knowledge, as well as his advocacy for the use of social sciences and humanities by practitioners in international solidarity.

Dr. Ngozi Blessing Edeagu wins price of the city of Bayreuth 2024 for her dissertation. 25.11.2024
Dr. Ngozi Blessing Edeagu wins the price from the city of Bayreuth for her PhD, which she finished with summa cumlaude. Her work contributes to the historical understanding of the decolonisation of Nigeria. The title is: "West African Pilot. The Elite Capture of Nigerian Decolonization (1937 - 1960)". With her work, she takes an innovative perspective and naviagtes in a rather unexplored terrain in this field of research.
